Does Olan Mills have a way to make it easy for me to schedule my portrait appointment?
Yes. With EZ SignUp™ by Olan Mills, you can schedule your portrait appointment from home or virtually anywhere there is a computer. Here is how EZ SignUp works:
- You can go directly to EZ SignUp or link from your church website.
- The screens that come next are simple and EZ to follow.
- In just a few minutes, you will have found a convenient time and made your portrait appointment.
- You will automatically receive a confirmation e-mail plus a reminder e-mail a few days before your appointment.
- EZ SignUp is very secure - with safeguards similar to what banks use for online banking.
What if I don't have access to a computer or prefer to sign up for my portrait appointment offline?
Portrait appointments can also be scheduled on paper at your church. You will be able to choose which way works best for you.
What time will the photographers be at the church?
Photographers should arrive at the church approximately 2 hours prior to photography to prepare and set up their equipment on the initial set up day.
How much does it cost to be photographed?
There is no charge to be photographed. And, every family photographed receives a FREE 8 x 10 Full-Color Olan Mills Signature Portrait.
What are the prices of the portraits? When and How do I pay for them?
If you would like additional portraits, an Olan Mills Portrait Consultant will be on hand to explain the different finishes and special pricing options available. You will select your pose electronically on a color computer monitor and will be able to order your portraits at that time. Portraits may be purchased with a personal check, cash, MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Discover card; or 50% deposit + COD. Payment is to be made at time of selection.

A member of my family will not be available to be photographed in our family sitting for the directory. Can we have a picture submitted so they will be in our directory?
Yes, you may submit a picture that is no larger than 4x6 to your church coordinator, and it will be included on a special page in your directory. There is no charge for this and the church will supply you with a complimentary copy of the directory. You may need to submit a copyright release for professionally taken photographs.
My husband/wife is not a member of the church and doesn't want to be pictured in the directory. However, we would like to have our family portrait made together. Is this possible?
Yes, schedule an appointment and when you have your portraits taken, advise our photographer of your situation. He/She will take poses of your family together and other poses of you alone for the directory.
We have always wanted an extended family group portrait done. Will you do this?
Yes. Please reserve an additional photography time slot for the group pose so that our photographers can allow additional time with your family and stay on schedule.
Can we use the same directory pose we had in the last directory?
No, unfortunately only those portraits taken at the church for the most recent pictorial directory can appear in the new directory.
